School Council and Parliament

At King's Meadow Academy we are proud of our School Council as it represents the views and opinions of the most important people in the School, our children.

Children from each class are democratically chosen at the start of a new year by their classmates; they represent the views of the whole class at the council meetings. It is a great compliment to children who are chosen and they really thrive on the trust placed in them.

During the year, the Council take part in a variety of activities which help to provide the Academy with information about the opinions and wishes of our children and contribute to decision making on how to make our school an even better place to learn.

This year our Council members will be chosen in September 2016 and will be posted here.

Our Council meets regularly with Mr Griffiths. Minutes of the meetings will be added below.
