The theme for World Book Day this year was ‘You are a reader’.
Every class had a picture book that they shared with the children related to the themes diversity, SMSC and well-being. There was some lovely work produced related to these books.
Adults in class read to the children and children had extra opportunities throughout the day to read independently.
All children had the opportunity to take part in a ‘Book Swap’ that was held in the library, which meant that every child took a book home to keep.
