PE Days

Occasionally, we may have to swap certain days around to accommodate an exciting opportunity such as a sports coach visiting or to fit in with the wider life of the school. We will always try to give you as much time as possible of any changes.
SODA Time
Our school doors open at 8:40 in the morning with registers being taken at 8:50. During our ‘soft start’, children have access Start of Day Activities (SODA). These activities are designed to ensure children have a positive start to the day. They also help to promote the following:
- Help focus the children ready for the day’s learning;
- Develop their grammar, reading and numeracy skills
- Extend and recall their prior knowledge;
- Pinpoint further areas for development and a ‘plugging of gaps’
